Beerbongs & Bentleys review :
In this post I’m going to talk about Post Malone’s latest album released on April 27, 2018: beerbongs & Bentleys, which is composed by 18 songs.

1. Paranoid:
“Paranoid” is the opening track to Post Malone’s long-awaited beerbongs & bentleys. Post details his doubts about his security and safety with his friends and his rise to fame. He feels as if people could be manipulating him for his fame and fortune and begins taking more precautions to protect himself.

2. Spoil My Night (ft Swae Lee):
“Spoil My Night” is a collaboration between Post Malone and Swae Lee.
Throughout the song, both artists detail nights filled with women and flexing their own money. Whenever women are around though, feelings seem to always interrupt a good time.

3. Rich & Sad:
“Rich & Sad” talks about Post’s life when he was going through a hard time with his girlfriend. While Post showcases his wealth on this track, he still felt lonely during that time when they weren’t together, which goes back to the famous phrase “money doesn’t buy happiness.” Despite his rise to fame, Post still wished that she never left him.

4. Zack and Codeine:
“Zack and Codeine” references the famous Disney Channel show The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. The hotel motif is apparent on the track, as Post raps about his raging life and the parties he throws in hotels.

5. Takin’ Shots:
As its title would suggest, “Takin' Shots” is a song which talks mostly about drinking all night and where Post also describes other aspects of his extravagant lifestyle like his drug habits

6. Rockstar:
On “Rockstar”, Post Malone compares his habits to the “live fast, die young” rock and roll lifestyle. Along the way, he references real events in rock history and highlights rockstar traditions like throwing TVs out of hotel windows..
On January 9, 2018, “rockstar” broke the record for holding the number one spot on Spotify’s Global chart with 108 days spent on the top of the list. The previous record holder was Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You”.

7. Over Now:
On “Over Now,” Post discusses breaking free from a bad relationship with a materialistic girl.
While he was head over heels for her, he came to his senses and declares things to be “over now”.
Also the person playing the guitar at the intro is the famous guitarist Andrew Watt.

8. Psycho:
“Psycho” recruiting Ty Dolla $ign, both of them rap about the luxuries they have earned such as expensive jewelry.
“Psycho” debuted at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, almost matching “rockstar” for Post Malone’s best debut on the Hot 100. Psycho’s debut at #2 also made Post Malone the ninth artist ever, and the second rapper, to have more than one song debut in the top 2 of the Billboard Hot 100.
9. Better Now:
On “Better Now,” Post reminisces about a past relationship.
He believes that his emotions are the same as those of his ex-girlfriends. They are both masking the fact that they still have feelings for each other in an attempt to “win the breakup.”

10. Ball For Me (ft Nicki Minaj):
“Ball For Me” sees Posty and Nicki detailing their excessive money spending and expensive lifestyles. Post also talks about his interactions with his materialistic partner.

11. Otherside:
On “Otherside,” Post discusses his feelings of anguish for a girl that betrayed him. In the chorus, he describes how all of the alcohol and models in the world could not replace the girl who left him.
He also expresses his loss of faith in God. This is shown by his use of religious symbolism throughout the song.

12. Stay:
“Stay” features a much slower tempo than the three previous singles. The song is about Post’s struggle to maintain a relationship with a girl.

13. Blame It On Me:
On “Blame It On Me,” Post reflects on the harsh consequences that follow the rap life. As the title suggests, Post blames himself for having to choose this lifestyle.
14. Same Bitches (ft. G-Eazy & YG):
“Same Bitches” is a collaboration with California rappers G-Eazy and YG.
The track revolves around women who don’t have a sense of self. They also tend to gravitate towards artists, such as the ones featured in this song, but the right girl wouldn’t be just like everyone else.

15. Jonestown (Interlude):
“Jonestown” references the infamous Jonestown cult massacre . Jonestown was an American cult led by and named after Reverend Jim Jones.
This songs refers to the Jonestown massacre, where Jim Jones convinced his congregation to drink ‘Kool-Aid’ poisoned with cyanide that resulted in 909 casualties. Historians debate whether this was an act of mass murder or mass suicide.

16. 92 Explorer:
Post's 1992 Ford Explorer aka "92 Explorer"

The title of the song is a play on the name of the Rolls Royce Wraith.
